Limam KANE, alias Monza, artist and music producer, Nouakchott
Monzahas founded his record label ZAZA Productions, in 2005. In 2008, he has created the performance arts festival Assalamalekoum featuring, performances, screenings, exhibitions, training workshops and conferences. As an activist of the African cultural sector, he is a member of the Equation Musique programme initiated by the Institut français and the International Organisation of la Francophonie.
He is also a member of the steering committee of Arterial Network since 2013. Graduated as a Programmer Analyst, he was trained in sound and vision at the Institut Supérieur des techniques du Spectacle of Avignon and culture economics and finance at the University Paris Dauphine.
He has translated the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Fulani and adapted the text to a song for the United Nations in 2008. He is the author-performer of three albums and a film entitled “Une Parole libre – Rap and Rim”.
