Tarek Hefny is an Egyptian photographer, born 1983. He got his bachelor degree with honors in painting from the faculty of fine arts Helwan university, 2005.
He participated in several group exhibition showing his work in both painting & photography. It was after his graduation that he started his own business as a commercial photographer, and now established himself as one of the rising names in advertising in Egypt.
His personal art projects take a different path than his commercial work, he focuses mainly on the modern urban life and its effects on the city. His current work tries to develop a new technique to understand the city around us through analyzing the urban textures.
