Claire DUPORT/sociologist

Claire Duport is a sociologist and cultural projects director. She is a professor of artistic mediation at the Aix-Marseille University and and a researcher at Transvercité (la Friche bele de mai, Marseilles). Between 2006 and 2012, she also accompanied Zinc on issues related to the links between art and digital culture, between sciences and the arts. Some of her works have been also edited: “Media Labs in questions”. Her research focus on activism and immigration in French suburbs but also on transborder economies in the Mediterranean and drug trafficking.
