François Lejault
Video artist and teacher
Born in Tours in 1960, lives and works in Aix-en-Provence, François Lejault is an artist, video director and professor at the fine arts school of Aix-en-Provence.
After his studies in school of art, François Lejault, commits a work of installations and movies videos. Its videos draw the complex relations of the body and its images in their transformations. Its current work dives into the limit territories of the society (shaman, homeless , psychiatric hospital).
Since 1996 he realizes numerous videos dance and scenographies for Thierry Bae’s shows.
