Mariam Roushdi
Journalist
Mariam Roushdi is working as a journalist in The Egyptian Gazette in Cairo. She joined the acting team in her college since her first day in university, and then she directed a lot of plays before she founded with a friend a troupe called “waves” in which her troupe participated in many local theatre festivals in Egypt and outside.
Also worked as an executive director and a lighting designer assistant more than 12 plays
Participated in a light designing workshop with the English light designer Colin Grinfell in the sidelines of “To be continued” festival the third edition. Worked as a light designer in the play “Frenzy for two” directed by Youssra el Sharkawy in the sidelines of “To be continued” festival the third
edition.
She has participated in the « street multimedia theatre workshop »in July 2011 in Alexandria.
