Sana TAMZINI

Artist and university lecturer, Tunis

Sana Tamzini is an artist and university lecturer specialised in international cultural cooperation. She is also a curator of contemporary art exhibitions. She was the director of the Centre National d’Art Vivant at the Belvédère, Ministry of Culture between 2011 and 2013. She strives to promote artistic expression and freedom of expression and is active among Tunisian non-profit organisations. She is the current president of the Fédération des Associations Culturelles en Tunisie (FACT) (established by the CONNEXXIONS programme). She graduated with a Masters degree in Plastic Arts at the University of Paris I after obtaining a Masters degree at the School of Fine Arts of Tunis. She has participated to scientific research in CAD and visual arts from Montreal to Paris. Since 2003, she has been lecturing at the École Supérieure des Sciences et Technologies du Design of Tunis.
