Claudine DUSSOLLIER
Geographer, author, multimedia and cultural projects manager
Together with Abdo Nawar, Claudine Dussolier coordinates the platform RAMI- The international encounters on arts and multimedia. Since 2000, she is animating cultural exchange programs in the Mediterranean region.
Claudine Dussollier studied Geography. She has had various working experiences in the field of immigration, urban, social and cultural development. In 1993, she joined the public establishment of the Parc et Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris as a program director linking artistic projects to their social and urban context.
Since 1998, she directs or coordinates training, publishing initiatives and cultural development projects in France and in the Mediterranean. She is particularly interested in artistic intervention in public space, clown arts and the recent use of digital and multimedia tools in the cultural field.
From 2000 until 2012, she developed the international cooperation programmes in the Mediterranean of ZINC/ Friche la Belle de Mai, founded RAMI plate-form and MEDiakitab Network.
Since 2013, she is developping with Transverscité and MEDiakitab associations new cooperation projets.
She runs la collection Carnets de rue/écritures artistiques, espaces, publics in L’Entretemps publisher since its foundation in 2005.
From long time ago, she considers personally, the photography, writing and the multimedia as her career path. The poetic project of Voyageur- Alexandrie-Marseille conducted in 2001-02 with Nabil Boutros, Jean-François Rivière, Alaa Khaled and Salwa Rashad is one of these examples.
